There is more to self defense than fighting, yes fighting is a PART of self defense, but is often marketed as being self defense. We consider ourselves a "school," not necessarily a "gym." Here are just a few other attributes we teach besides the fighting aspect of self defense:
All of our instructors are at least brown belts or above in Krav Maga. All of our instructors currently train in Krav Maga as well as cross train in various other martial arts.
All instructors are federal, state, and child abuse background cleared as well as CPR certified.

Why Evolution? Because every technique is risk vs benefit. What we teach is how to increase your benefit with your skill set to decrease your risk. Everyone's risk vs benefit is different. As you learn new techniques and master them...we want your fighting style to evolve. You shouldn't be the same fighter you were when you started...that is a complete disservice. Street fighting cannot be mainstreamed. We believe in modification!
Ground survival consists of techniques to take the fight to the ground, stop someone from taking you to the ground, ways to control your attacker on the ground, striking on the ground, and weapons. We feel this is an essential part of a self defense curriculum due to the fact that fights can end up on the ground. Beginners are encouraged.

Krav Maga blue belt curriculum
Krav Maga is an extremely effective self-defense system taught by the Israeli army to be learned in a very short time and is based on your already inherent responses to stimuli, therefore removing a copious amount of time before it can become effective. It combines the best, most efficient techniques from various martial arts and fighting systems into one cohesive system. You will be learning in every class and after each class you will increase your survival rate in an attack.
This class will be taught by certified personal trainer, Angela Lewis. Angela is an experienced personal trainer looking to help you up your cardio game and practice your kickboxing skills. These classes will be designed for a full body workout. All experience levels are welcome. Beginners are encouraged. All body types welcome. Boxing gloves are required. You may borrow gym gloves for your first class and gloves and hand wraps are available for purchase.
What is #FemaleWarriors? The main focus of this all female Krav Maga class is to start a mini revolution of strong women. Empowering them with confidence, a strong body and mind, and safety. These classes are tailored towards women's strengths, modified for their body type, and focuses on common attacks on women. This class is no negativity towards our fellow females, instead we strive towards support and raising each other up to make all of us better.
